OK guys I just warn you, sometimes I tent to write to much


I was born at early January in Germany 1986 and since this I have two big passions nature and photos.
As a country child which I'm there was no other way as simple love mother nature and her creatures, no wonder we had our own little zoo at our best times we had in the same time: 1 dog, 3 cats, gooses, ducks, chickens with cocks, rabbits as big hares, hamsters, small exotic brids and a gray parrot also we owend a mouse, fishes and more birdies. At my grandfathers/uncles farm I had Rottweilers, cows, more chicks and my cousins horses.... *G*
My dads flower shop teached me more about mother nature "secrets".

Why I love photos so much? Truelly I have no idea maybe it's in my blood since my dad had love to photograph and also his dad, my granddad.
First I always collect all pics which I can got.... horse cards, posters, family photos...
then I began to steal my dad BIG camera a Pentax but it wasn't digital this time and actually not such a great idea when I thing on the annoyance which I got after dad got the printed photos from the photoshop.
OK then I got in that age where I truelly had need my own computer!! and with this and the internet it began the fanart phase of mine, some years long I created collages all kinds from my favourite TV shows, movies, actors, singers even my animals wasn't save in my fanArt craze. It was such a big fun to create a new piece of art with these photos. Also sometimes I wrote fan Fics, but that another crazy thing out of my teenage years. But yeah I also had loved to write, so no wonder I was also at the school newspaper at my school and no wonder that I wrote about animal protection there and my teacher trust me so much that he let wrote me the articel about the 11 sept...

Later I was apple to photograph with a simple pocket camera, actually I done some pretty shoots in Venince, Italy with that one. Wonder what kind of pics I would do with my now camera there now.
After this pocket camera got broken my dad finally gave me permission to use HIS Pentax.
One of my all time fav. photos I done with this camera. My old male cat Mikesch (miss you my heigh king) he STANDING at MY hammock (we had long talkings if this is my hammock or his) watching our old granny dog when she was hunting a mouse... you just see Mikesch and the hammock at the pic, but you wonder how he can hold his balance so good ...
I done much with this camera. but never ever asked about camera settings, I prefer looked to the style of the photo. Where I had place the motive and that kind. And still technic is a little weakness of mine!!!!!
I always photograph our flowers or animals, I don't thought on landscape, people or other photography just our flowers, fruits, vegetables we had at our garden or shop and our animals.
Then 2004 it was a big year for me I don't just got my own car a OLD VW polo which I still drive and this now 17 years old no I also got my EOS 300D but the most impotant in my life also happen in 2004. Finally after I dreamed 18 of it my biggest dream came true I bought me my own horse, my own Black Beauty when you want to say it that like, my baby Michel, who is already sexy Michel and not baby anymore.
So I had a baby horse and a camera to docu how he grown up and even in his pictures you can see how my eye change in the last years and also that maybe some technik knowleage got some improvement.

After I end my 1 year commercial school I was going for some weeks to California, not just because of holidays I had there some business to do if you can tell that fun business. I began to work for the internet community FriesianExchange.com. and for the training I hadto fly to CA.
There I lifed at a friesian farm with some of the finest friesian mares I ever meet, my darling Godiva became this year model, which is pretty good, you can compare this with the approved status by a stallion. Godiva, Big Mama Titia, little sweet Petra and Fardau was so kind to play models for me and thanks of these noble mares I was abble to try some tricks which a photographer friend of mine gave me via E-Mail, she by the way was also located in CA but more southern, I was at Lincoln which is northern CA.
I guess it was these summer in CA, where I decide to became a photographer, what I always had want, but listen to partents and other made me try to go o other businesses. BUT after the CA sun shine on my head, each day out with horses and not forget "our" beloved Freya the German Sheppart at the farm I was 100% sure to go and try with photography as job. Also my photograpger friend in CA and some other friends made me really strong at these resolution of mine.

Back in Germany I figure out that find a job training as a photographer was even more difficult as in the other jobs where I had want to find a job training. School?? Actually thanks some friends I already had also looked in the USA at some schools, but since it cost so much money fly your horse to USA and the other difficult part at that I gave this US plan up. But here in Germany was also just schools which had cost much... I tried with one but after I was close to join it, they had take 100€ more the MONTH so that there was no change for me to take this school.
and a normal job training by a photographer had also not worked. All applications I wrote no one "worked". Some photographers told me I need a practcal training before doing a job training by them... yeah how smart but a practical training they don't gave me.
So I looked for practical trainings. and finally end 2006 I found one and this by the world leadning equine photographer Gabriele Boiselle. She is world wide known for her horse calenders. By her I had know I will not just learn more about photography, no also about the business behind the photography work.
So my 6 months practical training began, I still remind how some US friend of mine admire it when they heared where I will began to work. *G* my german friends here all had take it as "normal" LOL.
I learned much about databases, photo selections, how to handle custmers and finally I got the change to work in PhotoShop.
BUT then I notice also with this practical training no one had taked me as a student for a job training in the same time a friend told me about the Prager Fotoschule again. I remeber heared from it already. But school?? yeah there I had need a second job to finace it. And for a second job was no need to looking for. After I told in the Edition Boiselle about my situations it was sure that I will keep my work for them after the 6 months practical training and with this I was apple to finace the school. also Gabriele Boiselle send me to a Adope Photo Shop seminar, so I siiting now here at the office and mostly work on the photos via PhotoShop. corrections colours, deleted fences out of the photos and that kind not a big thing.


Also I began to look into other motives, people fashion photography.... or also fairytales after I "hate" in my childhood fairytales in my teenage years to now my love for fairytales, fairies, unicorns, dragons... grown more and more. I would love to do a snowshite shooting, or sleeping beauty or or or... but well I don't know if it's because of me that I take such bad pics that all friends of mine running away when I asked them for playing model or if they simple so photo shy as I'M??... well actually as I was I guess. Since my sexy boy enter my life there give it so much pics of me lol, I guess he killed my photo shyness, somehow. Actually we two already got e-mails if we play models together... and just one of these photographers are allowed to do this, Val are you still seroise about that part with me??
and yeah and there is still the plan that another photograpger friend of mine will take photos of us two, hope this will work someday.

But I keep trying finding two leg models for me and maybe with my photograpgy study there I can find some hobby models who work with me together I have so much ideas in my head already.
About fashion shootings or fairytales.

In these fairytales are my biggest inspirations artists liked Selina Fenech, Jessica Galbreth, David demare, Jacqueline Collen-Tarrolly, brain Froud but also movies like Legend with Tom Cruise give me inspiartions.
also I got very often inspiarte by books of Marion Zimmer-Braedly, I love her styl to write and the Most of Avalon and Priestess of avalon are my favourite books.
But the biggest inspiartions of mine are mother nature itself.

I hope I will learn more in PhotoShop so I will really apple to create the best fairetale photos!!!!


yeah so school already began.... how was that song called again?? "I will survive" (why I have always that bear from Mr Dolittle in my head when I hear that title???) yeah I really hope I will it, too lol.
Most of the other students seems to have already such big knowleade about photography. I hope I will not "stay behind" not apple to follow them.
We will see, now I will take the challanges to made all my homework for school correctly.
It is a private school, but since this year you can past a official test which give you the formaly certificate you need (arg I hate translations, when it came to school, office work or that kind)
